Work experience

Translator, researcher, and writer in Freelance
from 2012 to Present
After my in-house employment I decided to become freelance - to stay in Vietnam. I started cooperating with several translation bureaus in Can Tho and the Mekong delta. I translated Vietnamese, Japanese to German or proofread translations and assess them. From 2015 onwards, I expanded online and offered my translation services via the Internet, working for private and corporate clients, authorities, and agencies.
Project Manager in LWL - State Museum of Archaeology
from 2010 to 2012
My duties involved the preparation of a Vietnam-focused exhibition. In this process I also translated correspondence, material descriptions, memos, and brochures from German into Vietnamese and vice versa.
