I am a native Ukrainian and Russian speaker with a fluent knowledge of English that I earned while living and studying in the US and Europe. In 2009 I obtained the Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (Level C1).
I have a PhD degree in virology. Working for over six years in science, I earned significant experience in writing and translating scientific papers, presentations, educational materials, lab protocols in the fields of molecular biology, genetics, virology, microbiology, biochemistry, medicine. I have publications in international peer reviewed journals.
I have also been translating for over 8 years for civil society organizations: mainly project applications, reports, informational materials and presentations concerning civil society, human rights, democratic development, european integration, elections. I worked as an assistant and interpreter for ENEMO Election Monitoring Organization in Odessa in 2010. I also participated in one-month internship from the Robert Schuman Foundation at the European Parliament.
