I am a Gerontological PhDr and the academic author of "Fear as a predictor of life satisfaction on retirement in Canada" published by Educational Gerontology in 2014. I am also a translator, as well as a part-time instructor of an international school in Novi, MI, U.S.A. I teach Japanese, social science, and English on Saturdays and summer days. Moreover, I had been a teacher of high schools and a medical/social welfare college to teach Japanese, social studies, and social welfare, or mentor the medical and social welfare training for a total of 16 years in Japan. I acquired a Ph.D. degree in Clinical Social Work, specialized in Gerontology, at Walden University in Minneapolis, MN, the United States. I have translated a book, many Homepages related to advertising, electricity, and science medical and scientific texts, and legal documents from English to Japanese; and Japanese chemical/medical articles/patents into English for the US Patent & Trademark Office for 14 years.
