I have been working in the translation field for a total of 19 years, during which I have gained a wealth of experience in mainly technical related matters. I became a freelance technical translator after six years working as head translator and machine operation, programming, and calibration instructor for a major surface mounting technology (SMT) manufacturer in Japan. This hands-on experience helped me obtain a working knowledge of equipment, software and industries in which I was involved. I am currently qualified to JLPT N2 with 21 year's residence.
