Regarding my general experiences, for four years, I worked in the fields of Market Research (with Taylor Nelson Sofres Vietnam) and Marketing (with United International Pharma) where I learnt how to make differentiated branding strategy, and helped companies navigate the underlying yet untapped consumer needs relating to their categories, which in turn makes them stand out in a clustered market.
Regarding my education, I got my BA from California State University, Fullerton in 2012 upon high school completion in Vietnam. I recently took the GMAT and scored 5/6 in the writing section (Analytical Writing Assessment).
Now being a freelance translator, I have been taking on simultaneous Vietnamese-English translation and vice versa, proofreading, subtitling, translation and transcription projects with local and international language agencies, as well as with private entities.
Since June 2016, I've translated 100,000 words, subtitled/transcribed 1,000 minutes, edited 21,000 words, and interpreted 5 hours in the topics of Media, Marketing, Market Research, TV Shows, Healthcare, Legal, Contract, IT, etc. for approximately 15 global language agencies, e.g. Lingual Consultancy Services (India), Ansh Intertrade (India), Idiomatic Language Services (USA), GLOBO Language Solutions (USA), Tilti Systems (UK), Cadence Translate (USA), Tekst en Vertaling (Netherland), MSS Cape Town (South Africa), SpokenHere Communications (USA), MOTAWORD (USA), etc.
