I am a journalist by training and a translator by passion. I currently combine both professions in my mission to put information as a tool to the service of society and help breaking language and cultural barriers.
I have more than 10 years of combined experience in a range of roles within the language, publishing, media and communication industries.
I have been an English>Spanish translator with a very good feedback record from all my clients for more than 8 years.
Since I started my career as a translator, I have translated a wide variety of texts that range from documents, mobile applications, web and blog content and brochures or listing to books, social media posts, news articles, press releases, white papers or business proposals, for different industrial and professional sectors: NGOs, language schools, engineering, marketing, hospitality, tourism, health, medical, technology, law, media, etc.
I have done translation work in several occasions for Inbox Insight (technological translations), Focus Content Services (medical, engineering, hospitality, retail texts and information, etc), Search Science LLP (travelling, tourist information and also SEO content writing) and SEPROTEC Multilingual Solutions (marketing and engineering).
Moreover, I have translated several books. I have translated the first book by Cristen Hemingway Jaynes, The Smallest of Entryways by. I have also collaborated in the translation and proof reading of two books for the British publisher B. Dutton Publishing: Animation in Sugar by Carlos Lischetti and Baby Cakes by Debbie Brown. Both books have received a great response amongst the Spanish speaking public. I have been trusted by Carlos Lischetti, who has more than 335000 followers in Facebook, to collaborate in the translation of his second book: Animation in Sugar: Take II.
Amongst other projects, I have also translated to Spanish the online and mobile banking platform Nexus360, proofread audio and writing content for Spanish teaching books of companies Sonrisas Spanish and La Jolie Ronde and proofread and translate voluntarily some of the content of the NGO Lifemosaic's website. More recently, I have translated some EU materials in relation to the topic of Rare Diseases.
