I am a professional translator whose native language is Spanish. Languages have been my passion since I can remember. I have studied Dutch, English, French, German, Italian and Portuguese, among many others, and I am always learning new languages: both Classical and Standard Chinese are my passion at the moment.
In 2001 I passed the Cambridge First Certificate in English examination. I started learning French with a private tutor, and then I attended classes at the Alliance Française. I learned German at university, but I only fell in love with this language when I read the German Sanskrit scholars. Finally, after studying Latin, Greek, Linguistics and comparative grammar of Romance and Germanic languages, I learned Chinese, Dutch, Italian and Portuguese all by myself.
After completing a three-month internship in the People’s Republic of China in 2012, where I worked as a journalist and translator at a Spanish language news portal, I decided to dedicate all my efforts to become a professional translator.
After returning to South America, I started working for Softonic S.L., a leader company in the software sale and distribution sector. In this company I had the opportunity to translate into Castilian Spanish articles on software, technology and mobile applications. These articles were written in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Polish.
Although I did not finished my Linguistics degree, I could enjoy a superb education at Rosario National University, where I learned to read many languages and I was taught phonetics and comparative grammar of Indo-European languages.
