2015 — present time Motaword, translator and proofreader with elevated status and access to the projects of our VIP clients. I proofread large Entertainment, Educational, Ge-ology, Finance, Law and International Relations texts. I am very proud of proofreading the extremely badly translated report of around 47 000 words on missing children by ICMEC, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, to a tight deadline. Now I help the company to implement new general guide-lines for such projects to prevent translators from contributing such bad trans-lations in the future.
2015 — present time All Correct Group, localization tester for mobile applications. There I ensure that new mobile apps/builds are translated correctly into English. Russian, mainland and Taiwanese Chinese (and edit text if there are any kind of mis-takes) and do overall QA testing of the localization. Here I constantly work to a tight deadline, often have to pull all-nighters, coordinate with my colleagues and share my experience with them. Here I introduced a lot of new instru-ments that made testing easier for me and my colleagues, which even made them ask our manager to give me a promotion and/or bonus.
2016 — present time All Correct Group, Chinese-Russian translator. Here I translate design documents, wargames and Chinese MMO RPGs. With this company I gained hands-on experience of working in MemoQ on cloud-based projects while collaborating with my colleagues.
