Are you as excited about the upcoming LocWorld38 conference as we are here at Smartcat?
To help fellow LocWorlders interested in translation technologies, we’re happy to invite everyone to our own meetup which will take place on Friday, October 19, which is the closing day of LocWorld.
Join us at Bell Harbor at 6.00 PM to talk about automation and collaboration, the two pillars of the future of translations as we see it, and get some insights on making the most out of the technologies available today. Attendance is free. Register now.
Jeff Weiser, our Translation Technology Advisor, will introduce our team’s vision on automating processes other than translation itself, such as project management, vendor sourcing, project assignment, progress tracking, which can dramatically increase an LSP’s bottom line. Jeff will raise questions that we at Smartcat have been pondering about throughout the years of researching, developing, and doing business with some of the most forward-looking industry players.
Other speakers will include Yuka Nakasone from Beabloo and Braahmam’s CEO Biraj Rath.
|Yuka Ghesquière Nakasone
Globalization & Localization Director at Beabloo
CEO at Braahmam
Yuka Nakasone, our long-time friend whose enthusiasm we deeply share, will be talking about how she is building an in-house localization operation with all the crazy requirements and people she met on her way. Absolute scalability, modern automation implementations and... a really limited spending allowance for localization — nearly zero-cost. Not to be missed!
Biraj Rath, on the other hand, will be talking about best practices in finding freelancers in Smartcat and making the most out of team management or task assignment without all the stress and wasted time.
Hope to see you soon at LocWorld and/or Smartcat Partner Day!
Oh and here’s a fun video Jeff Weiser recorded to invite LocWorlders and everyone else interested to our first-ever Seattle-based Partner Day. Can’t help but share it with you:
