Smartcat is happy to introduce its new training partner in Argentina. Translated in Argentina (TinA) is a nonprofit association focused on bringing together local industry stakeholders in an effort to further strengthen the country’s position as the go-to place for into-Spanish translations. The association has teamed up with Smartcat to both search for new translation experts and clients and train newcomers to the field.
“The industry landscape in Argentina looks brighter than ever”, says María Gabriela Morales, TinA’s President. “Since the turn of the millennium, we’ve seen nothing but growth. After these many years, the localization industry is rock solid in our country, which boasts a huge linguist base, hundreds of agencies, and large international players’ affiliates dropping anchor in our shores. Translated in Argentina is at heart of it all, bringing together all parties and creating synergies for a win-win situation for everyone.”
Many of the association’s member companies use Smartcat and have praised the platform’s ease of use, transparency, lack of “seat-counting” licenses, flexible team management functionality, a great pool of resources, awesome support team, and the payment automation solution.
“We believe Smartcat is positioned to be the platform of the future and, in this respect, is perfectly aligned to our goals as an association”, says Milena Rossi, Head of the Training Committee. “We seek to gain global visibility while providing our member companies and the public at large with new training opportunities that we believe will greatly enhance their service portfolio, widen their resource pool, improve their linguistic quality, and strengthen their bottom line.”
Smartcat has high hopes for the partnership as well.
“Together with TinA we’re going to organize a set of webinars to introduce future professionals to the Smartcat environment,” says Arseniy Konov, Smartcat’s Head of Marketing. “Freelancers from around the world will be able to learn more about translation technology, the needs of modern translators, our cloud-based CAT tool, and much more. Also, thanks to TinA, we’re going deeper into a huge Spanish-speaking market in South America.”
